I popped into Sephora the other day and went a little wild. I would say I need supervision but I went with my mom & she did the same amount of damage as I did sooooo…..I guess I get it from my mama 😉
I went in for moisturizer & primer, I was completely out of both & wanted to try something new of each. I was using Tula’s moisturizer & I tried their blurring primer. I really like the moisturizer but wasn’t obsessed & same with primer, it was good but wasn’t my holy grail. I did a little searching & reading reviews before I went to kind of keep my on track. That plan failed the moment I walked through the door. I planned to look at TATCHA & OLEHENRIKSEN products. Well, the day I happen to walk in Sephora they were just rolling out Charlotte Tilbury in-stores. I’ve of course heard all about CT and how AMAZING her line was but never purchased anything because no where in Pensacola sold her line. The only product I’ve been tempted by to order online was the magic cream. To get straight to the point, I blacked out the moment I sat down in the makeup chair & let a CT consultant try out countless products on my face including the lusted after magic cream.
I did manage to grab the two things I went into the store as well as everything else I’ve listed below!
I’ve only been using the $100 magic cream for a few days so I can’t say yet if it’s worth the hype & worth the price. I still can’t believe I spent that much on a moisturizer but the way I feel like it’s semi justified is that its a 3-in-1 product; serum, moisturizer & primer. For me, if I would have bought those 3 separately it would have been every bit of $100 or more. I also only got a sample of the CT light wonder foundation so I could test it out.
