pearl earrings: THESE are under $10!
For some reason when I look at this dress it makes me think of school, maybe it’s the collar, I don’t know. I watch TVLand and it has reruns of The Brady Bunch and I totally feel like Marcia Brady in this dress!
I wore this dress when I was in NYC for fashion week and I couldn’t believe how many girls stopped to ask me where it was from. I kind of laughed to myself because I know most of them we’re expecting to hear that it was super expensive but it’s from forever21 and was under $30. I also got a million questions where I got my leopard clutch, I’ve had it for a few years, it’s one of my ride or die bags. It’s from French Connection but I found a similar one HERE! I feel like I get the most comments and questions about pieces I have that I’ve had for ever or that I found on sale but when I wear something brand new that people could totally go out and find it’s like crickets…like I want to get a megaphone and announce “hey everyone I just got this sweater from Target & you won’t believe it’s on $25 & they’re fully stocked go get one!”.
Funny story about these booties. When Nordstrom was having their big sale there was a similar tan color Steve Madden booties and I wanted them so bad. I kept telling myself I didn’t need them and that I needed to be good and not shop because I had a business I was trying to launch. After a week of telling myself I didn’t need them I convinced myself that I was probably going to buy them anyways and I should just pull the trigger and get them on sale to save essentially save myself a few bucks in the end. As you can see I didn’t know get the tan pair, they we’re completely sold out. I kept stalking the site hoping someone return them in my size or that Nordstrom would restock. Neither happened. When I saw the pair I have in the store I jumped on them, as much as I love tan I’m kind of glad that they were sold out because I really love this charcoal color. Moral of the story, everything happens for a reason….either that or never second yourself….or better yet, have no self control and buy whatever you want when you see it.
