This ladies and gentleman is how Brian and I decide where we’re going on our next big adventure, the only reasonable way for two twenty-somethings to decide…by putting destination name on strips of paper and randomly picking one out of hat. Brian and I might have made our ways through college by learning how to balance our social and academic lives but when it comes to deciding on the simplest things we are the absolute worst. While we’re steadily planning our trip to Europe, which I’m still in shock from Christmas when Brian surprised with the news, we wanted to plan a fun low-key vacation that didn’t require a passport.
Chi-Town, the Windy City….ol’ Chicago you’re the lucky city that gets to host us this summer!! Neither Brian or myself have ever been to this city before so we need all the advice we can get as far as where to go, where not to go, best shopping, definitely need a list of the best eateries Chicago has to offer! The only ideas we’ve come up with are going to see a baseball game at Wrigley Field and planning a little food crawl through the city. Yes I said food crawl, my inner fat kid is coming out and I have no shame in admitting it. Every time I watch Food Network or the Travel Channel I always think it would be so much fun to have a mini little food crawl though a city and eat at the local spots and try things that are unique to the city. We haven’t set exact dates for the trip but it’s definitely going to be sometime between June-August. We want to explore the city and not just do the touristy things, I mean I’m totally taking a picture in front of the giant bean and I’m eating some deep dish pizza but I want to find fun little spots to visit and things to that are off the beaten path and aren’t on every travel agents list of attractions which is why I’m asking y’all for help! I need the insiders scoop so if you’ve ever been to Chicago or live there I want to hear from you!

I can’t wait to hear from y’all!
