Let me prefaces this post by saying that I should have listened to my elders when they told me to always wear sunscreen and to protect my skin while I was young. I am still young in the grand scheme of things but I wish I would have listened sooner and started using better skin care products. Until about a year or so ago I had never used or even thought about using an eye cream. To me eye cream was something only my grandma wore. The entire beauty and skin care world is something that I honestly never cared about until recent years. I’ve always been one to wear a little mascara and maybe blush and call it a day. Looking back I’m wondering why I didn’t ever focus on filling in my eyebrows but that’s a completely different story and needs an entire post dedicated to itself. If you’re like me you thought all you needed to do was wash your face twice a day, apply moisturize after and if you were going to be outside apply sunscreen. Oh how wrong I was. Wrinkles and fine lines were something I thought I would never have to address because let’s be real no one ever thinks aging is going to happen to them. WRONG. After years of not wearing sunscreen and just natural aging on my face from laughing, staying up too late and not drinking enough water have started to show.
I’ve only used two eye creams ever and today I’m here to talk about one of them. VIIcode T2 Oxygen Eye Cream, it’s a little pricy but seriously so worth it and a little goes a long way so it’s a total investment in your beauty regimen.
What makes this eye cream THE eye cream to have? It made using a unique extraction process that helps with the healing and regeneration of damaged skin cells.
How to use: As with most eye creams, it’s applied to the eye area after you cleanse your skin. The T2 oxygen eye cream comes with this little activation strip that helps basically prep your eye area for the eye cream. You use the strip to massage the eye area (it’s a crescent moon shape so it fits the eye area perfectly) or if you prefer to use your finger the old fashion way that’s total fine too, then apply the eye cream to your eye area. It absorbs quickly and feels so luxe. I keep mine in the fridge which might sound weird but it feels so refreshing when I apply it. I apply twice a day; once in the morning after I cleanse and before I apply my makeup and then again at night after I cleanse and go through my normal nighttime routine.
Results I’ve noticed since using: My eye area is very well moisturized and has helped my fine lines become less noticeable which I think is safe to say this eye cream is a winner!
If you currently use an eye cream which one are you using and loving?!
