Oh hey there Friday, it’s so lovely to see you again! Every day this week has been a 3 cups of coffee day so I’m ready to catch up on my sleep this weekend & try to soak up some rays at the beach since it’s supposed to be nice weather!
There’s nothing I love more than a good striped…well anything. Spring, summer, fall, year round I’m a lover of stripes! I’ve been obsessed with this boatneck top since I got it and even though it’s just a simple striped top I love the visible zipper detail. Am I the only loser who still loves that little detail?! These pants are never leaving my closet for one big reason….I don’t have to cuff them if I don’t want to. Being short always poses the problem of pants being too long so in the rare occasion that I find a pair that can be worn straight I buy them no matter the cost and if there are multiple colors, they get bought too!
Do y’all ever notice that you get the most compliments on pieces you’ve either had forever or found on super sale? It always happens to me. No one ever seems to care about my super nice full price flats or handbag I literally had to convince myself was worth the money, it’s always the rando shirt I’ve had stuffed away in my closet from like 4 years ago or who example the wedges I’m wearing. I always get so many compliments when I wear these babies which I love but the funny thing is they’re just from good ol’ Target. They are so comfy and totally affordable so I don’t hesitate to tell people where I got them. Here’s the flip side to the little rant I just had, I do semi cringe when someone does compliment something expensive I have because I always feel like such a brat saying what brand it is or heaven forbid if they ask the price. I’m so weird, I know. I like nice things but I’m not a brand whore. I like what I like whether it’s $300 or $30. The point of this story is that everyone should go to Target and buy these wedges because they’re cute, comfy and totally affordable, your feet & wallet will thank you!
Have a happy Friday & a wonderful weekend! 🙂
